Meghan Markle appears to have explored more of Dusseldorf, Germany than expected as she was spotted on a secret outing to a drop-in centre for girls and women who are living on the streets.

Photos of the Duchess of Sussex were uploaded onto Instagram as she visited the TrebeCafé, a resource for support, advice, peace and protection. She wore a grey cable knit jumper paired with a matching grey suit pants for the outing and posed with a psychology specialist before she was seen interacting with the young girls at the centre.

Fans took to the comments of the Instagram post to praise Meghan's work outside of her scheduled appearances at the Invictus Games. One wrote: "Meghan is always supporting women and girls."

It comes after Meghan and her husband Prince Harry put on a united front at the Invictus Games last week. They recently were spotted in the stands of the volleyball finals, sipping on beers together. Plus, Meghan stood by Harry's side as he celebrated his birthday.

The couple were emotional elsewhere as they greeted the wheelchair basketball competitors and congratulated them on their triumph. The Duchess of Sussex was pictured embracing Team USA, while her husband offered words of encouragement to the players.

As Harry and Meghan left the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf, they sent a strong message about their relationship, holding hands and making sure to stay close together. Their romantic gesture comes after Meghan decided to ditch her beloved engagement ring, which Harry gifted to her back in 2017.

Meghan has been accessorising her Invictus Games outfits with plenty of glitzy jewellery, but her engagement ring has been noticeably absent. The actress has been wearing her beloved $8,700 (£7,000) Cartier bracelet, as well as Princess Diana's Cartier Tank watch.

The Duchess of Sussex has also been accessioning her looks with a $62,450 (£50,000) Lorraine Schwartz diamond pinky ring. Meghan was previously seen without her engagement ring while relaxing with pals at a birthday lunch last month.

While some fans have grown concerned after Meghan was spotted without the ring, a source has said that the diamond sparkler has been damaged after a placement came lose. Speaking to Page Six, the source claimed the ring is "being fixed", which is why it's missing from her ring finger.
