Strictly Come Dancing couple Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington reportedly had the BBC production team left feeling 'awkward' after they put on a loved-up display over the weekend.
Kai and Nadiya first became close after meeting one another on the 2021 series of the show when he was paired with Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu and Nadiya was dancing with former BBC Breakfast anchor, Dan Walker. However, they started dating in January 2022 but she later confirmed their relationship in April of that year when Nadiya said they had been a couple for "six months".
A source claims the lovebirds 'could barely keep their hands off each other' as they packed the PDA. The dancers were kissing, cuddling, and making a 'spectacle' during breaks in filming Saturday's pre-recorded launch episode, according to an insider.

It was over the top and awkward for everyone around them. They definitely seemed to be flaunting their relationship and enjoying the attention."
Recently, Nadiya Bychkova voiced her disappointment after failing to be paired up with a celebrity partner. The full line-up of contestants was revealed on Saturday night but many fans were quick to notice the pro missing from the ballroom floor.

The 34-year-old professional has been a frequent face on the show since 2017, after being partnered with a host of household names including Lee Ryan, David James and former BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker. Sharing the news to her Instagram the dancer said: "I'm sure you'll understand that I'm disappointed not to be partnered with a celebrity on @bbcstrictly this series.

The Mirror revealed on Saturday the two lovebirds are set to go on tour again after Nadiya was snubbed of her Strictly role. The 34-year-old and Kai, who is paired with Strictly’s oldest contestant Angela Rippon, will take the follow-up to their debut joint tour Once Upon A Time.
A source said: “They found love on and off the dancefloor and Nadiya and Kai’s chemistry was such a hit they have been asked to do a second tour next year, this time closing in Kai’s hometown of Southampton. They’re in huge demand.” The Mirror has approached the BBC and Nadiya and Kai's representatives for comment.
